Nicolaus Coprnicus
Nicolaus Copernicus was a Polish Mathematician who led the Scientific Revolution. He was the man who disagreed with Ptolemy's theory and developed his own theory that says the sun is the center of the universe. So in 1543, he wrote a book called On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres.
Johannes Kepler
Johannes Kepler was a German astronomer who supported the the Copernicus's statement. But, he also added many corrections to it. He added the idea of the planets moving in oval paths, instead of circular. This began modern astronomy.
Galileo Galilei
Galileo was an Italian scientist who had made the third breakthrough in the Scientific Revolution. He believed that knowledge came through experiments. Also, he also found out that scientific instruments could help humans explore the world. In addition, he played an important role in making scientific instruments by inventing the water thermometer.
Sir Isaac Newton
Issac Newton was an English mathematician who brought together the ideas of Copernicus, Kepler, and Galileo all together into one system. In 1687, he published a book by the name of Principia, which had described motion of objects, also known as gravity. His ideas had led to the rise of the study of matter and energy.
Francis Bacon
Francis Bacon was an English thinker. He believed that ideas based upon tradition, shouldn't be focused on as much. So, he developed the Scientific Method. This method is still used today.
William Harvey
William Harvey was a scientist from England, during the time of the Scientific Revolution, who was the first one to discover that the heart pumps blood.

Robert Boyle was a famous Ireland scientist who was the first to discover and realize that the air we breath every day, is made out of many different types of gases.

Antoine Lavoisier was a famous French scientist who lived from 1743-1794. During the Scientific Revolution, he discovered how materials, of any sorts, burn.
Robert Hooke
Robert Hooke was a famous English Scientists who during the Scientific Revolution, discovered cells, and how are bodies are made of millions of them.
Andreas Vesalius
Andreas Vesalius was a famous scientists who had explored the human body. By dissceting a human body, this allowed him to explore the human's bodies, as well as learn new discoveries. In fact, he even wrote a book that allowed new reseach about anatomy. By asking questions, and thinking, he eventually created a new period called the Scientific Period.
Scientific Method
Scientific Method was originally created by the English thinker, Francis Bacon. This method was an orderly way of collecting and analyzing evidence. The method is consisted of many different steps. For example, you have to make observations, find a hypothesis, and test your experiment to see if your hypothesis was correct.

Nicolaus was a Polish Mathematician who examined the planets, and the universe, and discovered a new theory. His theory was that the sun, not the Earth, was the center of the universe. Until this day, we still use this theory.
